Who doesn’t want beautifully bronzed skin this summer? The answer is no one! Having the right glow can help to make your figure look better, your skin look healthier and is just plain pretty. However, there are a ton of ways that a faux-glow can go totally wrong. Here are some do's and don'ts for getting the perfect color this summer.

By now most everyone has heard the news of his passing. Vidal Sassoon, a name that is immediately recognized and is synonymous with hair - turned a passion into an empire.  Red hair is the star of the beauty spectrum this year. Stars like Christina Hendricks and Rhianna have taken the notion that, "Gentleman Prefer Blondes" and turned it on its head. Even the redheaded boys, especially those from across the pond, have been causing hearts to flutter. Red hair is having a moment, and with only 4 percent of the world's population carrying the red haired gene, it is safe to say most of us have to get this coveted hue from some hair-color magic. While the celebrities make it look easy, there is a lot to take into consideration before becoming drop-dead red.

A key trend element in men’s haircuts today is disconnection. Incorporating a disconnected element into a guy’s cut immediately gives it a fresh and current look.

We've bleached them, we've plucked them, and we've waxed them into submission. This year, however, the eyebrows return. The beauty trend for Spring and Summer 2012 is a fuller, softer, darker brow than we have seen in previous seasons. With icons such as Kate Middleton sporting the fuller brow on her wedding day, it was just a 
matter of time until it trickled down to the masses. A wild, full, brow graced the runway and editorials; however, this is definately a trend that needs to be modified for the individual.                                                                         

Even though it was a dreary day in New York City on Sunday, it was an EXCITING day for 3 professional stylists. One year ago on the same International Beauty Show Mainstage, Nick Arrojo and Frank Schoeneman, Chairman and CEO of Empire Education Group, announced a competition that would give one lucky professional stylist the opportunity to work on stage with Nick at a Masters of Beauty event and also win $10,000. After hundreds of entries and a year long competition, the day has arrived where the winner of the Next Master of Beauty would be announced.
